Mamadou Sangaré is poised to make his first Premier League appearance for Brentford when they face Tottenham on Saturday, with fellow newcomers Jannik Schuster, Jaidon Anthony and Callum Wilson also competing for places in the starting lineup.
The Mali international has shown remarkable promise throughout pre-season and Bees head coach Keith Andrews is prepared to throw him into action against Spurs.

He indicated that supporters should expect to see at least some of these signings feature in the upcoming match.
Brentford secured Sangaré’s signature from Lens in a deal representing the highest transfer fee in the club’s history, and expectations are considerable that he will deliver significant contributions.
Andrews described him as an extremely gifted midfielder capable of fulfilling numerous responsibilities within that position.

Andrews expressed satisfaction with how seamlessly Sangaré has adapted to the team’s playing style, acknowledging that while he anticipated this integration, certainty only comes with actual performance. He stated his desire for Sangaré to simply be himself during the match, to embrace the atmosphere and to play his natural game.
Additionally, Brentford defender Sepp van den Berg will be unavailable for the opening phase of the campaign due to a groin problem.
